Kuala Lumpuer, Malaysia - 21st May 2009 - Asiasoft Malaysia, the leading publisher of Massively- Multiplayer Online Games in Southeast Asia has officially signed a memorandum of understanding with the FPS-juggernaut of the local online gaming scene, Sudden Attack Team FMJ of Malaysia

The signing ceremony between the team and Asiasoft took place at the company’s office. As the game’s and Asiasoft’s ambassador, FMJ will be involved in Sudden Attack activities throughout the country

Malaysia Sudden Attack tournament in Asiasoft Gamefest 2009

9th June 2009, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Asiasoft Malaysia (AS Online Sdn. Bhd.), the Online Entertainment Leader in Southeast Asia hosted its first Asiasoft GameFest 2009 Malaysia (ASGF09MY), on the 5th to 7th June at Ground Floor High Street at 1 Utama Shopping Centre, Bandar Utama.

The carnival themed game event featured all of Asiasoft’s popular game titles, and launched new upcoming ones – “Yulgang Online” and “MapleStory Episode 2” – Chinese version, and a MapleStory Charity Auction to raise funds for a local charity. An exciting sneak preview of the brand new action-battle game (based on the famous Chinese epic, Romance of the 3 Kingdoms) “Warriors of the 3 Kingdoms” was shown as well.

TeamLZ emerged as Champions and walked away with RM8,000. 30.4 were 1st Runner Ups with RM5,000 and FMJ|Asiasoft.MY came in as 2nd Runner Ups winning RM3,000.

In this picture it is sad to say we didn’t win anything, what came out from us that day is a valuable lesson to be learn “Never give up, never give in, and when the upper hand is ours, may we have the ability to handle the win with the dignity that we absorbed the loss.”

Cyber Fusion 2009

14th April 2009, Cyberjaya, Kuala Lumpur - Asiasoft Online participates in CyberFusion 2009, Cyberjaya? first ever game convention. Organised by Cyberview Sdn. Bhd. and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) Malaysia, CyberFusion was held for three days from 10th April to 12th April 2009 at the Multimedia University (MMU) in Cyberjaya. The event was segmented into three main components: One Nation Cyberjaya, One Nation Invitational and GameFest 2009.

The main highlight of One Nation Invitational would be the CyberFusion Sudden Attack Tournament, rewarding players with more than RM20,000 worth of cash and prizes from Asiasoft Online. It was an exciting 2-day match where 27 teams registered. Team FMJ was crowned Champions and walked away with RM8000 and Razer products. Team Chronos-GG bagged 2nd Place whilst Team Xyphere, a Singapore team, took home the 3rd Place title.
